Welcome to Corey T Works. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (coreytworks.ca) and the purchase of products from Corey T Works ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. General
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our website or via direct communication (email, Instagram DM, etc.).
1.2. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
1.3. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
2. Products and Pricing
2.1. All products are handmade by Corey T Works in Toronto, Canada. Due to the handcrafted nature of our pieces, slight variations may occur and are part of what makes each piece unique.
2.2. Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
2.3. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you will pay.
2.4. Product images are representative. Due to monitor settings and the handmade nature of jewelry, actual pieces may vary slightly in color, texture, or appearance.
3. Orders and Payment
3.1. An order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation from us and payment has been processed.
3.2. We accept payment via e-transfer (Canada), PayPal, and credit card (where available).
3.3. For custom orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before shipping.
3.4. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear to be placed in error, orders that involve suspected fraud, or orders we cannot fulfill.
4. Custom Orders
4.1. Custom pieces are made specifically for you based on agreed-upon specifications.
4.2. The design process includes consultation, concept development, and your approval before production begins.
4.3. Once production begins (after deposit and design approval), deposits are non-refundable as materials have been purchased and work has commenced.
4.4. Changes requested after production has begun may incur additional costs and delays.
4.5. Custom pieces cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect.
4.6. It is your responsibility to provide accurate sizing and specifications. Resizing of custom pieces may incur additional fees.
5. Client-Provided Materials
5.1. If you provide your own gemstones or materials for use in a custom piece, you acknowledge that there is inherent risk in working with existing stones, including potential damage during removal, resetting, or fabrication.
5.2. By providing materials, you accept this risk and release Corey T Works from liability for damage to client-provided materials, except in cases of gross negligence.
5.3. You are responsible for shipping and insuring any materials sent to us. We are not liable for loss or damage during transit to our studio.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All content on this website, including images, designs, text, and logos, is the property of Corey T Works and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
6.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our written permission.
6.3. Custom designs created for you are for your personal use. You may not reproduce or commercially distribute designs created by Corey T Works.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. Corey T Works is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
7.2. Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the purchase price of that product.
7.3. Jewelry is delicate by nature. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, accidents, or failure to follow care instructions.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase will be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
8.2. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues before pursuing formal action.
